Panchakarma rejoice


Panchakarma, a sanskrit word where pacha means "Five" and Karma means "actions". Panchakarma rejoice involues "five actions" or "five treatments". Five Panchakarma therapies


Vaman

This treatment includes oleation and fomentation treatments for a few days alongside some therapies and ayurvedic medicines. The patient is given medicines and decoction to melt the toxins and accumulate them in the cavities of the body to enable vomiting and help in disposing the poisons from the body tissues. Vaman treatment is recommended from weight gain, and hyperacidity.

Virenchan

In Virenchan treatment, the toxins in the body are disposed by clearing the bowels. Even this treatment includes Oleation and Fomentation treatments. The patient is given natural purgative to clear the guts that aid in purifying the body toxins. This treatment is recommented for pitta, jaundice, etc.

Basti

This therapy is used for convoluted and chronic diseases. According to the disease, homegrown decoctions, oils, ghee or milk are managed into rectum to see their postitive effects. This ayurvedic treatment is recommented for joint pains, piles and constipation.

Nasya

This treatment is used for cleasing the head area. The treatment includes treating head and shoulders with delicate massage and fomentation, afterwhich nasal drops are given in both the nostrils. This ensures deep cleansing of head area, eliminates cerebral pain, headache, hair fall, sleep disorder, neurological disorders, sinusitis, and other respiratory issues.

Raktamokshan

Raktamokshan treatment is used for purifying the blood and other ailments that cause impure blood. This ayurvedic treatment can be done in a particular area or for the whole body. This treatment is recommended for skin problem like psoriasis, pigmentation, etc.
